i was given a 83 lt 125 and there is a gear selector labled r1234 besides the foot selector what does this do? does it just lock the tranny in that gear? thx todd

you pull it up for reverse while in netrol you must push it down to go back to farward gears

It's for the turbo boost and nitrous injection

Up for reverse in neutral, down to get back into neutral and be able to switch to another gear, Just like mikelt125 said.

my first quad was an 83 lt 125 those things run forever we had ours for 5years for me then went to my brother and it had over 8000 miles and ran like new and always started right up the only thing i didint like was to shift down instead of up but they are fun
