Are there any cross country races in illinois or around there and if there is could you give me the websites or information about it. Also what do you call a cross country race. Also how long do they usualy last. Also what is xc.

xc is cross country same for the term mx means motorcross also the same for sx super cross, anyways cross country can be desribed as harescrambles and thats the only other term i'm aware of. they usually last from 1 1/2 hours to possibly 2 hours, the tracks are from 6- 10 miles long usually no more or no less, OXC is in missouri and OXC which is ozarks cross country is an awsome series that just started, it replaced the old MHSC because they banned atv racing and went to strictly bikes, so a group of guys started something big, the web site is oxcracing.com get on that forum and get all the info you need, PM me if you want some more info
