OK i know most of you guys are racing big cc quads, but my son is 10 and this is his first year of racing, and has been getting whooped up on , he was ridding a honda 90 trx(stock) soi thought most kids would be on the same style of quads, and man was i wrong, so we bought a new drr 90 which is a race ready 2 stroke, and WOW ,this thing will beat my 250 honda trx up to 35 mph,it is wide (44 inches)fast, has a nice susp.,and front and rear disc, a hot pipe , abigger carb, dual A-arms and is not chinnese, company is in Brunswick OH(there web site does not do them justice) but you can get a better look at drr nation. com,we are going racing sat, with it for the first time and my son cannot wait, so if you know anything about the drr please post a message, iam interested to see how many people have seen these mini quads in action

Might get more response posting this under "Kids & other quads".....

DRR - Nice machine. We race against several of them. Incredibly smooth suspension and steering. Not bad out of the box, but do a little clutch work & eventually some porting, WOW. My son races an Apex which is damn near identicle. Ours is a little screamer ----- You just cannot beat an Apex or DRR for an inexpensive race ready quad. I'd like to have half the money I've dumped into some of our other minis to get them race ready & competetive.
The Apex & DRR are technically "Stock" when we were running them in the stock class, it was a joke. A couple of the tracks that we race locally here have created a seperate class for the Apex & DRR. There are currently 12 Apex & 4 DRR's running in it......

Good Luck

we raced the drr sat, did a lemans start and we were fourth going into the first turn but it was a 1 hour race and my son showed alot of patince, he ran third for about half an hour and was just waiting for his chance and when it came he passed both riders in one lap, and then he drove away with it , his first win ever and his first race on his drr, and second and third were both the drr. also
