i am buying a radar gun. I own a 89' lt500r, with bills pipe and silencer, vforce reed valve, 20 inch tires with stock gearing. What speed should should I be reaching?
How fast will stock bore lt500r's go??
any tricks on power and speed for this bike?

stock I think they hit around 80 - 81mph ..

Just wonderin did you ever do it? Would be guessin mid to high 80's on stock gearing.

The new ATV Sport mag has a Duncan LT500 that will hit 100... I think they mentioned 80 in the article for a stock machine.
