my big bear 400 has alot of power for a small bike but i need more power to turn bigger tires in the deep mud with the big bores
i have already put on a pipe, jet kit, and k&n what other bolt ons or small modifications can i do to get more power

WOW what Tire are you turning? My old 89 350 Big Bear in the lower gears or in low range especially would snap all the axles off before it ran out of power to turn the wheels.

i agree, I have 26' kenda exicutioners on mine, and in first or second, it will pull just fine

where can i get and what kind of piston and cam do i need thanks for the help
turns 26s fine but lookin to go up to maybe 29s or 31s depending if i can find better than stock axles

to turn 29's you'll need a lift too, or no fenders..lol

Piston, I'd look on ebay for a JE piston, if they make one for the 400 big bear, I'll do a lil checking
Cam go to the webcam site and get it from there, I've heard good reports on the mudbuster cam, but have no experience with it....

i checked n je dosent offer a piston for the 400 big bear, but the do for the 450 kodiack, may have to resleave(if enough room) n make a stock one fit, other wise i hate to, but i would recomend wiesco....
