Welcome to the forums. These machines are a slug. Sorry, but it isn't going to get much better. You can buy all the syuff you want and it still won't be near what you'd like IMO. Is it too slow for you or your 4 year old? If he's a new rider, I'd think it'd be fast enough to learn on.

Thanks mate, my little bloke rings its neck, he wants to ride his big brothers LT80 but the club they race at won't allow him on th bigga bike and nether will his brother. We have an lt50 which canes the ltz50. RT racing seem to have power pipe,do you know if this is worth me getting over.
Very dissapointed down here in Perth Western Australia.

dont want you to waste money on upgrades, so listen to lt80, he knows what hes saying, they are real drag quads (as in they drag their @$$), so i can only recomend a new quad. if you want to get a bigger one, try a raptor 80 or a breeze 125. for now im sure its fast enough, but when hes better the quads i recomended should fit him nicely....
welcome to atv connection hally...

FYI - Dynatek makes the CDI for the LTZ50. It in combination with removing three of the clutch rollers really wakes this thing up.
