hi group, my first post and need help from the forum, after a trip to Busco Beach ATV park yesterday and hitting a few water holes (just to the middle of the tires) the fan stays on all the time and the overheat light flashes on the dash. Thanks guys.

check to make sure the wires or plug didnt come off the temp. sensor that controls the fan.

The wires seem tight and I cleaned the connnection with contact cleaner, when I unplug the wire from the thermister the fan shuts off and the temp light goes off, think I might have a bad thermister

i would say a bad sensor more then a themostat as it would overheat fairly quickly since the collant couldnt circulate. imo.
