Take the center bolt out the take the 6 smaller bolts out.replace spring, line up the Xs on both parts, start center bolt enough to get the 6 smaller ones started, torque the 6 bots to a tad less than 20 lbs and the center bolt to 40 lbs

I just put the same spring in mine last week. Take the clutch cover off; take belt off; take a marker and mark the cover to the clutch for the clutch is balanced and you want to put it back the way it was; Take of the middle bolt; (put something through the clutch to hold it)take off the 6 outer bolts; cover comes off and pull the spring out; put in new spring; reverse steps. Clean with compressed air. Just look and make sure nothing broke or worn.

I love it. You will notice that it takes a little more rev to get it moving but you get use to it. I can stand it up pretty easy and I don't have to put it in low to get up those short hills or to hop logs. I love the new power.

What do you ride?
The Dalton blk/white is a little much for some utes and 4x4s
It is rated at 39-144
for utes and 4x4s I like an EPI pink 0-140 or Dalton blue 6-144.
You dont get the hard hit on bottom but pulls harder all the way through.

I have a 04 Sportsman 500 ho and I don't know the ratings on the spring but I like it. Mine doesn't hit that hard at all. If you want it to hit hard you can but it is all up to you. Do a search for Rick Ritter and get his phone number and he will answer any of your questions. Rick recommended this spring and I am glad he did.

You wont gain a lot but it will be noticable.Set your secondary from 1-1 (stock) to 2-2 after you try the spring.

do that after you see how the front spring does so you can tell what is doing what.
