i have a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 it has no rust any where and the rims are brand new looking with paint and just painted rear rack and foot things with paint painted eghaust with heat paint that u use for wood stoves. starts right up runs great. rear tires are 75% and front are 25% i have a yellow body scratched up and warn but not cracked red seat and red front plastic electrical cover i have a 2000 lb gorrila winch with a wirless remote and rocker switch on my handlebars. hears my main concern my tirod ends are shotthe play up and down back and forth 12 and inch each direction and my steering bushing is shot and my lower strut bushing is shot and my a arm bushings are shot. so everythingin the fron is shot. i was able to get tierod ends for $14 on ebay brand new. steering bushing for $38 new all 4 tierod ends for $50 plus shipping it is all from one ebay seller so it would be combined shipping.

the question is would it be worth doing this to get more money for the atv? or will it not make a diff?

it has a brand new chain good brakes good sprockets good belt fully body skid a arm skids. rad gaurd duel hedlights on teh handlebars. spare gold 520 o-ring chain. and spare good front brake pads. how ca n i get the most for this atv? i don't have any money i can't get a job noone around here in nj is hiring under 18 or if they are they are to far away. i am trying to roll this over into a sportsman anything with irs and 4/4 i can fix it up.
thanks alot

That depends on if you are selling it or trading it. I took my 05 Sportsman that looks better than brand new to two dealers to see what I could get for trade in and they both quoted me book price of 2 grand. They actually told me to sell it out and not trade it.

The fixes add up to $102. If I was buying it I would not care about those parts needing changing but I would talk you down $800 because of them,so do it yourself.

I don't know how much it's worth but most people wouldn't buy it at all with a bunch of worn out parts on it.
