Hi, thanks for the input, although mine doesn't knock but it's got a harmonic rattle that'll wake the dead coming from the exhaust shield and only when it's warmed up to normal temp. and just off idle 1/32 throttle and it doesn't matter if it's in or out of gear. It's deffinatily the exhaust shield and all clamps, bolts and baffel are tight. Even has exhaust wrap between the overlays of the shield and one clamp that I thought was causing the noise. Worked for about 20 minutes then it came back. Otherwise the bike is great and still under warrenty but I hate to take it to the shop for such a trivual problem.Thanks, BB
