Lin ran across your post from 2012 concerning your linhai 300 and the problems you were having with it not firing. i have a 2005 260 Mountaineer which I think is very close to what you have and i have them same problem you have with it not firing. I got the same resistance value on the pickup coil and everything else seems ok. I get a spark everytime I turn the kill switch on and off but when cranking no spark! anyway any pointers will be appreciated. I am going to try the cdi box next because i know the capacitators inside of it has to charge up to fire the coil. any pointers will be appreciated. thanks Larry lstill@aol.com
