Hey Check, I am doing fine. Glad ot hear your daughter is doing fine and has been safe. Sounds like you made a really good choice on the new machine. I bought a new one for my 14 year old last year as well. I bought him a TRX 250 Honda. It has a no stall auto clutch that he can also use like a clutch machine so he can learn without stalling the machine all the time. It also has reverse. Which is very handy. Something his old machine did not have. Not a racer by any means, but a safe ride, and just sporty enough for him to improve his skills.
Also purchased Mrs DB a new Grizley 450 with IRS. I have never been a fan of IRS before, but I have to say, that one WORKS. It is like riding a caddillac compared to my Honda Rubicon.
I have been away from the forums for a while. My work has kept me busy for almost a full year. When ever we have a change in government administration, it takes a year for things to sort themselves out.
    Peace
    DB

Hey Check. Sorry, it has been a while since I had time to get online. Not sure how long ago you sent me a message. Good to hear your daughter is having fun. I never get over the look on their faces when they are out riding. Hope this finds everyone healthy and intact. I just had my son out for a ride last week. It has been 6 months since our last ride, and both of us were a little rusty. It was great to get out in the woods and forget about the world for a few hours. I bought him a new 250 Honda TRX. Not alot of power, a semi automatic clutch, has reverse etc. It is a great bridge machine for when he turns 16. I think he needs a lot more seat time before I am going to turn him loose with a fast machine.

Hey, Dragginbutt, saw your photo displayed when I logged on, and thought I would say hello. (We corresponded a while ago about kids' atv safety and my daughter, who took an all-day ATV course.) Well, she will be 12 this summer and so we just upgraded her to the new Arctic Cat 150, and amazing bike for the in-between crowd. We also got a good deal on an '08 AC DVX90, which now comes with a light, and it will be great for her girlfriends when they come up (although training is still an issue).

Anyway, I thought I would say hello, and I remember that you had a great attitude about training kids to use ATVs safely, so have a nice day!
