sorry bob- I moved to New Hampshire- a state that doesn't treat their atv'ers like crack dealers the law started cracking down in central mass- just wasn't worth the risk.

that's an old thread and it's no longer an option due to the amount of people who insist on having loud pipes and riding on roads- the law has come down hard and I no longer welcome people to my house to ride- especially people I haven't met on prior rides. the only legal riding places in mass are out in Pittsfield (western mass) but not worth the drive imho- I recommend reg'ing your atv in NH or Maine and just driving to NH or Maine- where you'll find thousands of atv trail miles in states that welcome atv'ing. NH has tons of trails; LMFT, Jericho, Pisgah, Claremont to name a few.
Central / northern Maine has the most; Jackman, The Forks, Greenville, bingham, Shirley mills- Southern maine has a few trails as well- SMATV (southern maine atv club) membership is only $35 yr and has some great "day-trip" trails just over the boarder.
