hello atvman29 was wondering if you can help me out.i have no spark on my 230 all ohms test for stator test in range but cdi box fails specs of ohms test.and coil tested ok.i am new with the 230s heard you are the man.i was talking to a suzuki shop and they said cdi boxes dont fail wich does not make sense(everythingfails)so before i purchase 1 i would like your opinion since there spendy.thank you any help would be greatfull i just aquired 3 lt230s

hey everyone im new to the group and a new owner of a 85 230s but im having some problems with it first off it wouldnt idle and then it wouldnt run without the choke on so i clean it up put back on and it still wouldnt idle but it did run alot smoother so i purchased a carb rebuild kit and just got done puting the carb back on. now it wont start all the setting are at factory its about 45 degs out and im working in a unheated garage is it to cold for it the kick over i was going to have a friend push me and then pop the clutch but..... another problem when i put it into 1st gear and hold the clutch it wont roll it locks up so is it my clutch not engaging or what i traded a motorcycle for the 230s and i only had a few hundred bucks in the motorcycle so did i get ripped or is it just me haha ill get some pictures soon

I recently rebilt a 230s thanks to your google site and I was wondering if you wanted pictures of it for your site. i foundthe carb rebuild info very helpful and wanted to do something in return. its not an amazing '86 230 but it is in really good shape consedering the abuse it has been put through. Hey I have a quick question for you. I have an 86 suzuki lt230. My dad had it bored out to somewhere around 250. It has the stock carb on it still with stock main jets 112.5. Also I am going to put a uni filter on it. What main jet should I use?
