50 E-TON Viper?
Do they actually have a rev limiter on them? The first thing I did to my daughter's Skyhawk 50 is remove the brass limiter in the carb. Just pull the top of the carb off and it's right above the spring. Since you have it off, if you cut a couple coils off the spring it will make it a little easier on their thumb. Remember to adjust the throttle stop on the thumb for wide open throttle.
Another trick I heard was to put a K&N air filter on (part # RU-200 I believe) and drill the main jet with a .032" bit. It supposedly produces a noticeable amount of power. I am going to do it before spring. I am also told that putting the front sprocket from a 90 will make it faster. I am assuming that it is a larger sprocket, otherwise it would give it more torque. They probably have the same rear sprocket.
These mini quads use the same Yamaha scooter based motor. I am told that the 90cc top end will bolt onto the 50cc bottom end and there is a "big-bore" 105cc available.
Don't mean to get off your original topic...do you have any hop-up tips? I'm dieing to mod this little quad!
