05 predator 90 cold start
i have a 05 polaris predator 90. sometimes its hard to start after it sits for a while. i have to plug the air intake on the snorkel with my finger. it idles a litter rough, i adjusted the carb to get it the best i can. i drained the tank, filter is good, cleaned the carb but still tuff to start some times. i removed the bolt in the exhaust, exhaust blew out of it fine. i didnt see a screen in there. the sparkplug is black with some carbon on it. it usually smokes when its cold.
i was thinking of just buying one on on ebay, they are only $25. i believe i have a sunworld h68k carb with manual choke.
the ones on ebay, dont say who makes them. are they any good?
any carbs that might improve performance and are easy to install?

That's how you have to start the little ones if they've been sitting up or it's cold whether it's a manual or electric choke model. We had an 'in house" bulletin from Polaris on blocking the air intake snorkel to make them start in these conditions. Haven't heard any thing bad on the cheap $25 carbs on Ebay, but it's worth a shot as the oem carb is over $300 and the needle and seat assy is around $45.
