Default where is my cdi located? no spark

Ok so I get this used lil 50cc kasea mighty mite quad for my 4 year old daughter.

Guy I got it from said It needs a stator and hub because the magnets inside the hub blew apart and wont get spark.
Head down to a local moped shop and he had a stator and hub , but the parts guy said "ya know if your cdi is bad you wont get spark",put on new stator and hub but no spark at plug
Now I have the body off and dont see a cdi heres what I have stator 4 wires out 2 to battery 1 to coil 1 to switch/key--a relay for starter and a rectifier
Wheres the CDI? or does it even have a cdi..Cant figure why its not there ,plus no empty spots or wire splices or plugs, what gives guys..HELP

it can be zipped tied to the left frame below seat, or below the headlight under the plastics or under the left side of the fuel tank. several places they can mount it.

Chances are that the coil is the CDI.

I hope your right-and probably are here is why. follow my steps and thought process . this lil atv has a on/off key switch and a on/off thumb switch ,now if key is off no power ,but switch key on and it spins over when the thumb switch is either on or off(thinking this thumb switch just kills electrical flow to coil right,
so i spin engine over with thumb switch off for like 10 seconds to look for spark and no spark, but while still spinning over engine within that 10 seconds i hit the thumb switch to on and a spark jumps across the plug ,so iam thinking the stator is building current and sending to coil /coil stores it for a second and there is a moment of spark and i repeat the cycle. so maybe the coil is bad and maybe there is no cdi.. Just on a side note called moped world today and had a chat asked about a cdi for the atv he didnt tell me a straight answer but did say i need the thing (yep he said thing) coming off the sparkplug () i said coil he said just follow your spark plug wire back and thats what ya need. and its $ 139.00 i said a again a coil? or its a cdi guy said the same thing () so maybe its the coil and it has no cdi

Early LT80's didn't have 2 (CDI and coil), Just the coil/cdi as 1unit. I think the early version was better.
They updated the LT80's with a CDI and a coil. I forget the year.
