Xtreme Typhoon 125
My son has a Xtreme Typhoon 125. Trying to fix one of the many problems with this quad. The throttle repsonse is bad. I shortened the spring down at the carb. helped, but is still stiffer than the trottle on my Z400. I read somewhere that this is a Dirt bike carb. They also changed the throttle assembly to a metal unit and to replace it with the older style throttle assembly. I can not find a website for this company. Anybody know their website, or where I can get this assembly?? Was thinking about just replacing the carb with a better carb. Any info would be great. What size/brand is this carb?

Try taking the return spring out of the thumb throttle it's very stiff. The extreme and pepboys are the exact same thing except the Xtreme has a frame brace on the bottom between the front subframe assembly and the swingarm pivot. Don't believe me go look at a pepboys or baja brand name bike and they have Xtreme and a serial number engraved on the front of the frame. Xtreme went out of business in 09. Whenever I needed parts I usually found them on amazon or used pitbike parts since they are the same thing except for a front subframe assembly bolted onto the front of it instead of forks.
