Are you thinking of buying one?

I certainly wouldnt want to be one of the first to spend 5K on one... Too much risk for that kind of money...From reading the review its slow, heavy and has poor shocks..

There was another decent looking 450 from China about 2 yrs ago(notice this ones from korea)...made by the same factory that makes the Xtreme quads....Looked VERY SHARP...It was slow, heavy and had bad suspension...cost a lot to develop and they cant sell them....

Unless you have a reliable dealer nearby, that would be a hard sell for me. The thing with a machine like that is if you ride it hard, it will need parts sooner or later(they all do.) Year one and maybe two might be fine. It is when things start wearing out and you need to replace the clutch, driveline, brake pads, plastic, air and oil filters, etc that I see problems. There is virtually no aftermarket support for that machine, at least not in the US.

to be honest i owned that quad...

so far i got no problem with it except for the rear axle which is low.
when i ride it in a jungle track,,,it's rear axle always got hung by a rock and the rear wheels can't touch the ground.

that why i need people with experience with the quad...
but comment from both of you guys are very helpful too

How long have you had it? Is the dealer near you? Does he have many parts in stock?

I wonder what causes that? Small rear tires maybe?

I am always curious how new machines like that will do...

Well, all the solid axle quads can get hung up on ruts, roots, and rocks like that. A good swingarm skid helps a lot as you can slide over obstacles better. Also, you need to carry a little momentum through things that can hang you up. Another tactic is to ride with the wheels in between the ruts, or to move over to the side of the trail when passing rocks, etc. On occasion I even chose to run over the obstacle with a tire vs hitting it with the skidplate, especially if it doesn't have any sharp tire puncturing surfaces.

This is really a horrifying thought....if these machines dont catch on here, it might be impossible to get parts in a few years....

i had that machine since december last year...so around 7*8 months
at first i thought the dealer was very well suppplied but i found out that it seldome has spare parts for atvs...my other atv;Barrosa Quaterback 170(taiwan made) had to rebuild the engine. i sent the atv to the dealer since March and until now the sparepart had not yet arrived and it has been more than 4 months.

i know all of the rear axle can get hung up...but compare with other machine i saw, like the raptor 350. the hyosung's has a lower rear axle.
but it's seat is higher than the raptor 350.
