Default Suzuki LT50 problem

Help..........I recently purchased a LT 50 for our god-son. The problem I have is that it will start and run as long as we pour fuel in the carb. It appear that it is not getting a vaccum to keep gas in the carb. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

We just had the cylinder bored, new piston, rings, etc installed.

Have you tried rotating the fuel valve to the PRI (prime) position? This position flows fuel even when the engine isn't running. That may help with diagnostics.

There is a fuel filter within the fuel tank. Remove the tank and clean the filter. Also blow out (or replace) the fuel line. If you haven't removed and cleaned the carb, do that too - it's reasonably easy to remove and reinstall. Basically, clean and inspect the fuel delivery system since it's obviously a fuel delivery problem.

Report back!
