Default Polaris Scrambler 90 Major Problems, Help Please.

I am working on a 2001 Polaris Scrambler 90 that has been giving me fits.

The problem is it will not go above idle unless you block the intake tube with your finger, then it runs fine, leading me to believe it is having a lean condition.

Problems were there before any work was started and it started doing this one day out of the blue.

Things replaced, but have had no effect-

Complete top end rebuild. (ring end gaps were out of spec so it needed it anyway)

brand new carb/elec choke.

Tested stator/coil, all seemed to test good according to service manual and online write ups.

Put a spark tester on it, has nice fat blue spark up to a large gap.

New plug

Different spark plug cap.

New air filter

New gas

Checked oil pump and primed.

Checked ETC and kill switch.

The only thing I have yet to do is pull the side covers to see if there is a crank seal leak, which I now think is about the only thing left to check.

If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated as time is of the essence, needs to be running in 6 days.

Does anyone have a write up for crank seal replacement, and which side usually goes bad first si I can check it first.

Plugged pipe?
Seal: I'd check the clutch side first as it's the easy side.
The seals are easy. Basically pry em out and push em in.

Thanks for the info, forgot to say already checked that it wasn't a clogged pipe as I tried removing it to no effect.

Will check the clutch side crank seal tomorrow.
