Default can anyone help on this

I have a Kymco 90 mongoose sport that I bought for my little one. It has a throttle governor, rev limiter, and cvt collar. Well little one is not little anymore and I have removed governor and rev limiter. The quad still won't go top speed and I was told it was due to the cvt collar. Does any one know how to remove the cvt collar? The place I bought it wants $319 to remove it.

Welcome to the forums.
You will need to remove the clutch cover. Then use an impact wrench to remove the front clutch nut.
I'm sure that this is how you access it altho I've not done it.
Once in, I'm sure you will be able to see what's restricting it and remove that part.
I'm sure others will chime in as well.
