Default lt80 clutch mod

I was wondering on the clutch mod if you have to get to the weight by drilling the sides. I was able to cut the ends and grind them down to 180 g. But they are a little shorter than in the pix, will that be a problem?

I was also putting movable drive face together and i am using the best parts off of 2 quads , and i noticed that one of the the spacers that go thru the drive face is about an 1/8 in longer than the other. Is that going to cause a problem? Which should i use?

Throw the rubber things away.
Use the longer spacer. The shorter spacer has a washer. Don't put the washer on the longer spacer.
