I recall a thread here but cant seem to find it about a guy who was trying out a CDI from a KFX90 on a KFX/LTZ50 to see if it raised the pathetically low rev limit.

What was the verdict on swapping out CDI's??

 

I was planning on trying it , but decided to do mods that will work(so I hope).

 

What other mods,cause I'm thinking of doing the same?

 

I have a 2007 KFX 50; bought the cdi from extremeimport.com
The manager helped me figure out the wiring for the bike and was extremely helpful. The are in London and even with the time difference this guy was typing at midnight to help me and my boys out. I would certainly recomend them.

Here is the link to the cdi; my understanding is that it will also work on the 90cc and its worth it.
