Default Need Help ASAP with a Giovanni 150cc Quad

Hello Everyone

I hope someone here can help!!!!
I am having a problem with my wifes Giovanni 150cc Quad.
We were out on a 3 hour ride and 5 min from home the bike just stopped running.
We got it home and looked at it and I figured out the bike doesnt have any spark.
I've checked everthing I can think of but still cant get it to spark.
I had John @ allstarsalez send me a new CDI and that didnt work either.
I checked the plug, the coil, all the grounds on the bike, even all the (on/off) switches and they're all fine.
The bike is about 6 months old and has been only run for 6 hours max.

Any Ideas to help me get this bike running again would be great.
Thanks

Did you check both the ignition switch and the kill switch both? What test did you do on them?

Probably a silly question, but have you tried a new plug? They can fail at any moment, without warning, and show no visible signs of not working. I almost always start with the plug.

Yes !!! I checked the plug, the coil, all the grounds on the bike, even all the (on/off) switches and they're all fine.
The first thing I did when I got the ATV was to put a new NGK plug into it.
Thanks

Wow Bubba, if it's turning over, but not firing, and you have checked all the things you said, then you my friend are in a pickle. I'm at a loss, you have checked virtually everything that could cause this. If the CDI checks out, and the coil checks out, the only other thing not causing fire would be the plug. Even if you think it is good, change it anyway. I mean proper voltage from the coil, everything is working up to the plug. Just my thoughts, use em or lose em. Good luck.

The Strange thing is I'm not getting power to the coil.
I'm losing it some where but I can find where maybe the CDI is shot and the one I had sent to me was a dud.
do you know any why to test a CDI box?
and yes I tried a new plug and even put the plug from the 150 in to one of my 50cc 4 wheelers and it fired right up.

I think it might still be the CDI or a wire broke in the wiring harness.
is there a wiring diagram out there for the Gio 150cc atvs?

yes this bike has a safety start switch. Its the hand brake and the bike will not turn over unless it is pulled in.
The bike does turn over with the electric start and by the kick start.
