Default NEW giovanni quad owner, , just want to say hi

HI, Sorry never even thought about the 2 metal sleeves that go on the back. They are gold colored and go the axels before you put the tire on. They keep the tires from going in and on the splines.I think you will have to wait for those to come.

I"m not sure what you could use in place depending on the diameter. I have company tonight but i could measure the lenght of the 2 sleeves and diameter for ya if you want. Got to drive the wife and son the airport tommorow morning. But I'm usually up at 4:30 am , so could measure then. Depending on the diameter, you might be able to buy and cut some emt(electrical metallic tubing). I think of that pipe only cause I"m an electrician. Home depot sells it comes in 1/2, 3/4, 1". It might get you going until the right stuff comes. Let me know if you want the measurements.

HI, I just remembered there is also 2 little metal bushings or spacers that go the front wheels too. Sorry about that, totally forgot about the spacers for the wheels. They are pretty small and have to be the right size. I think they might be hard to find. I think you could find something for the back spacers.

I hope you told John that you only got tires and bike. That you are misssing the complete hardware bag for the tires. When you mentioned here that you didn't get nuts or cotter pins. Not having washers popped into my brain, but the wheel spacers never did. So hopefully John remembers all the parts you need.

Thats too bad your daughter has to wait. Atleast shes at an age where she can understand why she is waiting. It doesn't make it any better thou. My 3 yr old saw the quad when it was delivered ( the 1 covered in oil). I didn't want him to see it until i had it running and all the kinks worked out. It took two night to take apart and clean. So every waking minute for 2 days '" daddy can i ride it now" .Finally put him on it and pushed him down the alley. All i got was faster daddy, well daddy ain't as fast as he use to be, LOL

The weather has been awesome, mid 20's. Not our normal temp forsure. But its Alberta and could snow tommorow. LOL We could use some rain, I feel for the campers this weekend they impossed a fire ban this weekend. I hope the parts come soon, mine came pretty fast.
