Do you need to reset them? most people are tweeking without any real need; is it noisy? hard starting? causing issue when its hot? under powered?(its a 50cc 3.5 HP so give it a break!!) why do you want to adjust it?

If you have to you can read back on some other gio threads and it is described adequately for most basic backyard wrenching, don't fool around with it if you don't have to.

Yes don't tweek them unless you have to. Mine was under powered, could hardly run on the grass. I need to learn if it's not broken it doesn't need fixing and that goes for tweeking too ,LOL Would have been fine for the boy to ride. .004 and .004 better but I'll let my neighbour be the judge of that.

Hey,
just received bike a couple of hours ago.
Pouring rain here so wife and I have bike in kitchen!!
Question, did you receive bolts to hold tire on.
Put on tires but no bolts or cotter pins!!
Do you face valve stens in or out?
Wife says see would like to see that 6 ft-200 pound guy riding one of these!!LOL
Did you put the rubber caps on,don't think they would stay on very long.

hi , yes i got bolts, cotter pins , 16 small washers and 4 big gold washers . They came in a bag with the tires, also got extra gas cap, vent tube and something else electrical looking. There is one on the bike already so must be a spare, not to sure what it is.

Direcetions aren't very good. I did valve stems out. I used the pics on ebay to help see how the wheels went on., or rather which way the hubs on the wheels were facing. I put tire on first and then there were 4 small washers and then a big gold washer, nut and cotter pin.

YES I put rubber caps on, they are staying on no problem. The reason i put the 4 small washers on first, is it gets the gold washer away from the rim and rubber cap has something to hold on. Thats for the back tire. The front tire already has the bigger hub part of the wheel facing out, which helps the rubber stay on.

Hope this helps

P.S Tell your wife only 5' 8" not 6' , No pics as of yet, my wife says it's pretty funny looking thou

Well thats no good, hope you can find something to work. Always seems to be something, 1 st quad was flipped over by UPS( oil everywhere, drains out of over flow tube). Second quad had bent needle valve but John ( Allstar salez)has been really good at getting me replacement parts. I have one spare big gold washer so i measure it.

It's diameter looks to be about 42 mm across. The smaller washers , i don't think matter that much. If i remeber they aren't much bigger than the round hub part of the wheel when its on. They seem to be used as spacers. If you don't put them in the the lock nut goes in too far and you can't get the cotter pin in.

Thanks
I measured the axle, looks like 1/2 inch...or do you think the nut would be metric?
There is a couple of bike shops close by,so maybe I can find the right one.
I emailed allstar telling I did not receive.
Hopefully he will send me missing axle nuts etc.

HI, Not really sure if metric, i just used the wrench it came with to put it on. Hold on i think i got a spare nut and maybe some 1/2 " rod too . The only socket i have that big that fits it is a spark plug socket( 13/16 or 21 mm). I have some 1/2 " threaded rod and the nut doesn't fit on , too loose. I thought it was 1/2" rod maybe its not.

Another question
put on front tires,no problem
but back tires when you install what stops them from going on too far??
I could push them on past the threads of axle if I wanted to!!What would stop rim from coming off threads and going into chain etc.Do you follow what I am trying to say.
Front tires only go on so far.
Allstar is sending me kit(bolts etc)to get bike going
