Kurt make sure you fix that air cleaner!!!..The 50M is the same frame as the 70-90 atv's..Look on Ebay for the front and rear hubs to give you the full size 4 stud bolt pattern...It also gives you front brakes...I would still do a compression test to give you a baseline...In the future if the engine starts to seem lazy you can do a test and compare...Glad to hear its running good for you...

 

Yes, that is my next step. fix the air box. I figured before i spend any more monies on anything, Clean, repair/fix what i have and go from there. My plan is to do the comression test for exactly that reason. get an idea of what i have now. then at least i know what i have. I looked for hubs or "shaft connectors" as the parts guy told me they were called. nothing as of yet. Is this an item that is readily available?? What i have works for now so no hurries on the bigger tires.....after all My son only rode it for the first time yesterday.....
