Giovanni 50CC review

Most of you will remeber I posted a while back asking if anybody had heard of a Givanni 50CC ATV.
I ended up buying both the Giovanni 50CC and a Jackel 50CC.

I received the Jackel right before Christmas and gave it to my son (5 yrs old) as a X-mas present. It has had no major problems, other than having to replace the fuel tank twice, for leakage issues.

I received the Giovanni about 2 weeks ago and have been very impressed with the quality for $. It is much larger and has front and rear suspension that really works good! My son really likes that it is fully automatic. Seems to have plenty of low and high end power.

I have ridden it several times, and I am no small guy (6'3" 250lbs). It pulls me around at 30+ and the suspension even seems to support me.

Both ATV's started right up after minor assembly. One of the Jackel's fuel line was pinched, but after straightening that out, fired right up.

I have decided to keep both!

The little gio. is really a good bike for the money, I assume yours was shipped through Vancouver Canada. Change the oil out asap as it seems to be a mix of canola and mineral oil or something and toss the sparkplug that comes with it go with an nkg equivalent.
So far its the only small bike / quad I've worked on that has everything torqued to the same spec. with a reasonable grade of bolt in it in the suspension It will haul me (180) around all day at 35 to 40 mile an hour without complaint unless you get in heavy mud more than 5 inches deep, then life is no fun.

You are correct It was shipped out of Vancouver, BC.
I changed the oil in both quads right away.

Hey everyone

I just wanted to throw in my input. I bought a few giovanni 50cc quads for my kids and I also have a 50 cc kazuma and the giovanni is definately the better deal.

HI,

I have 2 and they are great little quads. No problems to speak of, minor adjustments on the carb every so often. I will be selling both quads in the next couple of days( cause everthing is always forsale if the price is right) and a co-worker wants them. I will pick up a 2007, probably after x-mas.

Would like to hear from anyone that has gotten the 2007. Seems to look the same ,except for dual chrome exhaust.

I have the 2007 giovanni quads ..............they are awesome, how much are you selling the ones you have for? the 2007's are going for around $1000. bucks taxes in....beats the he*+ out of the kazuma 50cc
do you have pic's of the ones you have? just to compare the difference.

never heard of the sunI, but the giovanni if you are looking into a 50cc is one of the better choices, even compared to brand names, not only is the price better, but the build and power seems better too
