You may find a way to reset the belt light. However, you need to figure out what tripped the light to flash. It's like "check engine" on your car. There is a reason why the light came on. If you just turn off the light without fixing the real problem that caused the light to flash, you are merely putting a bandage on it. First step is to open up the CVT cover and start inspecting the belt and measuring the defletion using proper tool and technique.

I have the same problem. I have a 07 brute. The light comes on and stays on at about 100 hours. It is a reminder to have it serviced. Doesn't mean something is wrong. When the light flashes it means you have a problem. There is a sensor in there that sits off the belt alittle. The light flashes when the belt is moving out enough to hit that sensor. If its flashing I would have it looked at.

well with the p360s when its time for serversing the check belt like stays on steady with no flashes this time its flashing with 1 to 2 second interviles so could the belt be braking down inside and hit the switch the bike runs fine all the way from idle to full throtal

i have also heard that if the battery goes dead it will set the light off. dont know if that is true or not but mine came on at the 100 hr mark as well for servicing.. I checked everything and turned the light off

It could be breaking down or it has stretched some and has got loose. Either one of those could cause it to hit that switch causing it to flash.

No, you don't have the same problem. Yours comes on and stays on. The OP's light is flashing.

There is no such flashing interval 1 to 2 second listed in the manual.

Flashing belt light could mean following:
0.3 sec flashing - Belt switch tripped.
0.5 sec flashing - Memory reading/writing failure on igniter.
