I've ridden '09 and only sat on '10. On a good day, '09 can do 63~64 mph GPS on flat surface. The '10 is almost same as '09/'08 except some extra feaures and slight changes to plastics but have nothing to do with the top speed.

I am considering the 750 brute to the 700 grizz
I am leaning toward the brute as I have had a Yamaha Kodiak for 7 years and want a change...Plus the brute retails for $2,500 less than the grizz and when you add taxes and interest to that its like $4,000 more of 60mo

My father has a 08 brute and i have a 09 650i brute, His will do 73mph stock, and mine will do 66 stock, The brute engin can easily be modded to be the fastest bike period, i raced an 09 can am 800 with a 08 brute 750, (both were aculy 850's) and everything was the same they each had clutch kit each had KN each had 850cc each had everything the same , we had 26 inch Itp terracross on both, on a 200meter dash the brute won by 2 quad lenths. Kawasaki detunes there engines for more reliablilty.Unlike kawasaki you see can ams in the shop alot cause of so much power, but Kawi's are most of the time moreso reliable because they dentuned there engin. and besides when are you ever going to be going 70mpg or more on a road?? if so not for long, its how how fast it takes u to get up two speed to top end. and forget the grizz, i have a kodiak 450 and now 650i il say nothing, i cant compare the 450 to the 650i the 650i is by far better, I prefer the 650i carb(burns out dirt if it gets dirty unlike FI) and not much more power

Stock 650 doing over 70 mph can be only seen on dreamometer. Use GPS or radar gun for sure.

there is a reason kawi is less there are alot of problems, i have never seen a healthy brute, wether it is having jetting probs, clutch prob, intake prob, radiator problems, and tippiness probs, if you want a faster bike that is built good look at a can am 650 outty, faster than a brute 750, and much more reliable, and not nearly as tippy

Never had problems with Kawis(or many other brands). In my experience most people who have problems with mechanical devices usually are guilty of poor maintenance or abuse the crap out of it. Take care of your stuff and don't be an idiot.
