a couple of my friends had brutes and they were both nothing but problems, im not saying anything about kawi, but you have to admit that brutes dont hold up to the abuse like others, ive seen a stock brute with 27 in mud lites, go into thin mud and it completely smoked the clutch, i went through with my rubicon, and went through fine, a powerhouse like that should not be burning up clutches in mud, were as a outty 650 has more power is more stable and is built better
Don't know where all these claims of 60-70 mph are coming from, but mine has 27" tires on it ant top speed on pavement is just over 50mph. Top speed on my kingquad was about the same with 27" tires.
I also have friends who ride the same quads, their top speed is similar.
A little skeptical about any 700+cc atv hitting 60 - 70mph stock- just ain't happening.
There has to be discrepancies with the speedo's then- there's just no way a stock 750BF is doing 70mph- I won't believe it.

No one accused of you for lying. Something else lied to you - the dreamometer.

But most of Kawi 650, 700 & 750 owners would not believe it and/or laugh at it. Because that just can't happen with a stock 650.
The meter on recreational vehicles like quads, bikes are known to be inaccurate. In many cases, the indicated speed is higher than the actual. That's why it's called a "dreamometer". As I suggested earlier, speed measured by either GPS or radar gun is a reliable source.

I should also mention that my cousins 05 BF750 with 27" Gators was doing 65mph according to his on-board speedo. We have access to both a GPS and a radar gun (cousins a cop) so tomorrow i'll do an actual reading and let you know what im getting.

I don't know why anyone would think its imposible for these machines to do 65+. The 800/850 polaris has been clocked at 70 GPS and Radar and those machines outweigh ours by a TON
