Default Need some help troubleshooting KW 2001 Prairie 400 4x4

Need some help with this one if anyone has experience with it. I am having trouble with the neutral indicator. First, i think the bulb is burned out in the indicator, but I don't think this is my problem. While the bulb doesn't come on, both wires going to the neutral indicator are hot and two of the wires coming off the relay in the battery box are hot regardless of the transmission position (when the key is on). The manual start works fine and the 4-wheeler runs fine using the manual start - just can't get the neutral indicator to work so that the electric start will work.

Plus, I hate to take it to the shop and pay someone else to fix it.
