ok i just recently bought a atv i know nothing about it except that the frame says klf 185A i wold like to know what the real name is of this atv, i only payed 25$ for it from some little kids who had it in the back yard it was their dads and he said all it needs is carburator hoses and a coil pack, i bought it mainly for the BRAND spanking new knobby tires on the front, but there looks to be ALOT of wires that are ended, it has the connector thing on the end for another wire to slide into it but there is NO other wires close to it that wold fit into it, i wold LOVE to find a wiring diagram for this atv i spent 6 hours online last night looking for a wiring diagram for this atv and ther is not much info i can find about it, i wold also like to know what hoses go to what from the carb, this is my first atv and i know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at all about carbs or atv's or engines, but im sure with a diagram of where the lines go hooked up to the carb and then where they go on the atv i could get it and i would also love the wiring diagram, it has no owners manual, and there is no lines going to the gas tank either, it doesnt look like it has a fuel pump so im wondering how the fuel gets to the carb also as it is beneath the rear fender so it couldnt be gravity fed, is it supposed to have a fuel pump? what lines go from the carb to what line on the gas tank top or bottom line? the atv has no cracks in the plastic it is all in perfect condition just faded and no seat just the bottom plastic piece of the seat any help asap wold be highly appreciated as i wold love to get out and ride my first atv thank you all

I have a 185 bayou that I rode till the wheels fell off when I was younger. I actually just drug it out of the weeds this weekend to see if I can get it going again. So, I may be able to answer some questions for you. I don't have any wiring diagrams, but I can tell you mine has an electric fuel pump in the center of the frame, right behind the engine, only maybe 5 inches from the front of the fuel tank. I am not positive what year mine is, but I always figured it was about an 85
If you were to order one of the Clymer Repair manuals, that would have everything wiring diagrams and lots of info on the carb. You can probably find on on ebay for $20.
