I purchased a 2001 prairie about 7 mn ago, while rideing it the left steering knuckle broke. After doing sum research I found that there was recall in 2005 on those models and sum others. Just wondering if anyone knows if they will still replace the part if had never been replaced. The recall was on prairie and brute force 2001- 2005 all 300 thru 700 2wd and 4wd. any help on this would be great.

 

I would try calling a dealership and see what they say. Alot of times when you buy a used quad the deal might tell you that the recall will be null and void. Sometimes they will just tell you it was already replaced on the atv already. Let me know what happens when you talk to a dealer. Hoped I helped.
