2002 Kawasaki Prairie 650 Questions / Concerns!!!

I have had my prairie for quite some time now and realized that I have never changed the oil on it yet ( I don't ride very often). What kind of oil should i use for it? I know I can use the kawi branded one but that's too expensive. Is there something I can pickup at walmart? Second of all, what kind of maintenance should I do on it if it has ~800 miles?

Also, while out riding last weekend for a couple of hours, the engine oil temp light kept on flashing at me. So, I turned off the atv for a little bit before I kept riding. Coming back home I noticed that the engine was smoking? I looked like some oil spilled over from somewhere and I was thinking it might be the coolant because it is at maximum level! What kind of coolant should I use in it?

Lastly, every so often, while starting from a stop, my belt will sqeak a little. Is it time for a new belt, or does it need adjusting? Any how-to's on that?

I can help ya with the belt. The belt is loose. If i were you, i would just go ahead and change it even though a simple adjustment is probally needed.
