Dyna Ignitions, interesting issue.
Greetings gang, been a long time. I don't come around much anymore, but I thought I'd get some opinions on this one. I hauled my old '03 Prairie out of the garage to do some yardwork the other day, and it began to bust the main fuse almost immediately. After some trouble shooting, I discovered to my suprise that my DYNA FS ignition had literally melted down. I mean, melted plastic was running out of it in liquid form. I know these things can fail for various reasons, I personally have sent my Dyna back to them for other issues. But I'm kind of shocked that a 250.00 IGN unit would burn up in this fashion.
I have an email into Dyna to see what they think, I'll update this thread with whatever they tell me if they reply. I know my warrantee is over by now, so I'm sure I'm out the money and the unit, but never-the-less, I'd like to send it back to them so they can crack it open and see the mess.
Anyone else have a similar experience with thier FS ignition?
