Prairie 700 mod questions
I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but I would stear clear of the K&N if I were you. I've heard some bad things about them with the Prairies. Sounds to me like TwinAir would be a better choice. One of the best things to get for the new machine will be a clutch kit from either Dalton or EPI to improve belt life and acceleration. I don't think the DG3 module from Diamond G Racing works on the 700 Prairie, but if it does, that would definitely be a worthwhile investement. The snorkel from Diamond G as well as a pipe and jet kit to go with your filter would really liven things up as well. Any of these would be good choices and if you don't have the money to get it all done now, do it piece by piece as the funds come in if you want that much more performance out of your Prairie.

Hey Carlbadmuva.....
Listen to someone who actually OWNS a P700...... In order of bang for buck....
1) Progressive ft Springs.... (or Elka if you want to spend more $$)
2) Twin-Air filter
3) Napa Hose snorkle (or DG snorkle if you want to spend more $$)
4) Nyroc mod for muffler (works great! Sounds GREAT!! FREE!!)
5) new jets.... 142-145's and .20 shim under the needle.
6) Dyna CDI or DG3.... (I have the Dyna CDI and love it! My brother has the DG3 and loves it... though my bike will beat his anyday! and I like the cooler running, and removing the reverse rev limiter crap....
7) new tires!! Match to your choice/style of riding.... I'm still waiting to buy new tires as mine are getting me through 95% of where I ride... My brother went for the MudZilla's... Likes them.. but only actually needs then 5% (at best) of the time... Stock Dunlaps are crap.. but they will do until you do all the other mods....
Have fun and hang on!!!!

I was waiting for someone to make that kind of remark towards me. I admit, I forgot the Progressive Springs. You would be very suprised Vengence, about how much I know about these quads. I pay attention to A LOT of the posts here and gain all the knowledge I can. I'm in the process of buying a 650 Prairie as we speak. I know more about these machines then some of the people on these forums that already own them. So as far as this post is concerned, all you did was repeat what I said besides the springs and the new tires. Tires are a welcome upgrade to any quad, he probably doesn't need to be told that.
