curious about chinese UTV's
I am getting ready to buy two UTV's from "Bestbuy" in Dallas, Tx. These 500cc machines are two seaters sold under the brand of 'BMX". Has anyone had dealings with "Bestbuy" or with the "BMX" brand units. How about the Chinese machines in general. I have read some stuff about them, mostly positive, but not in a while. I wonder how they hold up over the long run. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks Dave

I think there are some decent Chinese ATVs/UTVs out there.....but only when used very lightly and infrequently. My daughter rides a Chinese ATV......in the yard at low speed. I have no problems with it.
My son had a Chinese ATV that he rode hard.....it didnt last and was pure junk. That same ATV idled around in the yard would have lasted years - I have no doubt.
So basically I rank the Chinese ATVs/UTVs as childs toys....if you use them as such you wont be disappointed. Try to use them for anything else.....they are likely to fall apart.
I say pass.....buy a good used one from one of the big guys.....far better choice.
I bought an old Honda ATV for $700.....my neighbor laughed as he bought a NEW Chinese ATV for a few hundred more.
I laugh now as Im out riding......his is broken more than it runs and has been broken for quite a while.....I spent $700 wisely.....he wasted $900.
