1985 250SX

HELLO every one
i just got 2 85 250sx'sone runs great the other has wireing probs.they both are real ugly.i thought i'd restore them but cant seem to find plastic that i don't need a morgage loan to buy.(rear fenders $271,gas tank $500) not wanting to spend that much.i'll settle for after market parts if i can get them cheap enough.well iwas just waundering if any one new were to get parts and stuff cheap. even used would work for now. my son plays on it hes nine hes realy carefull but i'd fell better if it had fenders it has some off an older one they dont fit right and i keep thinking that theyer going to come off and hes going to get his leg tangeld up in the tires.Well thanks for taking the time to read this.Any help would be GREAT.
PS.i also have another one thats apart and not sure what it is no tag on frame is there any way to find out what it is i think its a 250r thats judging from pics of motors ive seen and exsaust.but thats not real reliable

Sorry Praire, the Honda 250sx is a four stroke. KTM 250sx might be a 2 stroke but I dont have one of those.

hey sorry its taken so long to ge back to you ive been spending all of my free time riding. like the other guy said its a 4 stoke. i do have another sx that i dont ride it dont run i dont think.. wireing fried but most of its there no plastic and tank leaks.i also have some 81 250r stuff id be willing to get rid of. frame gas tank swing arm and axle engine did run but has hole in side case so havent tried to start it still has good compression nothing in side hurt also have front wheel forks bent have any question let me know
