I have a 2000 Rancher ES and the other day for no apparent reason the electronic shifting started acting up. Sometimes it shiftts but most of the time it doesn't. Anyone experience any problems with their electronic shifter?

I have already done the obvious things, such as check the battery, switches, wiring connections, fuses, it is also not in a bind. I guess what I was looking for is someone who has actually experienced a problem like this one.
