Can anybody who has a warn 424 select tell me how it effects the speed of thier ATV? I have a 2001 Rubicon and I am considering purchasing one. I have seen 4 or 5 discussions about the unit on here explaining how long it takes to install and how great it is to be able to switch to 2 wheel drive but no one has answered the speed question. Also, has anyone had any problems with it or are not satisfied with thier purchase? Any info would be appreciated.

Hope this helps to answer your question. After installing a Warn 424 Select (Mdl:WRN-62624) on my 1996 Honda TRX300FW, I found quicker acceleration on this machine. This model ATV does not have a speedometer, but it feels that the top end is slightly better. However, the main benefits are superior (lighter) turning, tighter turning radius, less tire/front end wear, and quicker acceleration. I will be ordering and installing a Warn 424 Select unit for my 2001 Rubicon as well.
