250EX is about 51, the Recon is 47, I dont know about the Ozark, probably a little faster than the Recon but not quite as much as the 250EX, but dont quote me on that.

My Recon tops out at 45 to 55 depending on how much air is in my tires & road\trail conditions....all stock-no mods)

Grizzjeeper,
Don't know what the top speed is on the Ozark. My best guess is it will be higher. I saw my first Red Ozark two days ago at the dealership. I can see Recon sales being less this year unless you just have to have a Honda. I think Suzuki had a Recon in the room when they were designing the Ozark. The seating on the Ozark is very similar to the Recon. The fenders and the floorboards on the Ozark are even better designed than the Recon. The exposed driveshaft to the rear looks beefier. I can't wait to hear the real world experiences on this machine. Honda has had the Recon out with minor improvements since 1997 at looks like they will need to have a redesign or sales will only head lower.

WOW, 51 mph is pretty good for a 4 stroke 250 model. I don't think my Recon will do 51 mph. I have never checked it though.

I'm about 220,with me on my sons 250ex it goes about 51mpr.If you take the srark arester out your lookin at about 55-58.An with differance like that if you put a good pipe(big gun),jet kit, wheel spacers, and K&N filter it would be one tuff little puad.

My recon constantly runs in the 85km/h which converts to 52mph.
