Default 89 Fourtrax 300 Low Power

I have an 89 Honda Fourtrax 4x4 that seems to have very low end power. It runs like a champ and tops out well. I noticed this weekend while pulling a bush hog that it seemed like it was lacking bottom end. It would bog opposed to spinning the tires. I was only pulling in low gear and in some instances I would have to get a running start to get it to pull.

It is very solid, but I wanted your opinion on if I should possibly just swap out clutches? My guess is that these are stock from the 80's, and I've already checked and the clutch was adjusted properly. I have went up one size in tires, which I know would attribute to less bottom end torque.

Any thoughts/comments are welcome!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, everything moves freely. It has new brakes all the way around, new cv axles, new bearings, brand new OEM rearend. Everything functions as it is supposed to. Just trying to determine whether it is a clutch issue, old tired motor, or just doesn't have that much low end torque from the factory.
