Default 1985 250r atc

I have a 1985 250r atc. I was going to replace my rear wheel bearings. The bike came with an aftermarket extended axle. It also has a prolink swingarm. The chain tensioner case that holds the bearing had three bearings in it. I ordered a kit replacement and it came with two. Also, the bearings that were in it and the oem bearings that I ordered do not have the correct i.d. so they fit sloppy on the axle. How can I find the axle manufacturer? Or where can I get the correct bearings to get my machine running again? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I am wondering if you may not have gotten the wrong replacement parts? The aftermarket axle should make no difference with the stock swingarm, aftermarket axles should utilize the stock swingarm bearings. I believe it was popular to replace the bearing carrier on the Hondas with aftermarket, so you may need to find out the make of that to order the proper bearings.

Thank you so much for your information. The carrier I have doesn't look like the honda carrier. It has four holes in the left (or sprocket) side. I searched the net to try to find the manufacturer from a picture since my carrier doesn't have any numbers or manufacturer info. on it. Maybe they can help. It was really weird to me because I had the axle and the bearing mic-ed. The ID of the bearing is twenty thousandths larger than the OD of the axle. Whoever replaced this before I got the three wheeler used the same bearings that I had ordered because they were sloppy on the shaft too. I am sorry to make this so long and for dumping my problems on you. I am EXTREMELY appreciative for you taking the time to try to help me out.

Andy
