I'm not going to try and convince you that what I have is the best because I’ve never had anything to compare them too. Several of the folks we ride with have the same set and they too are happy with them.
One of the nice things is that the temperature control is a rheostat so you can set the temp that fits you rather than having only a high and low setting.
I’ve heard other people complain that their’s gets too hot and when they set them on the low setting they just don’t get warm enough.
I would also get some hand guards that will block the wind from your hands and possibly consider a thumb warmer for the throttle. My hand guards were very inexpensive and do a great job of blocking the wind from my hands. 17º and all I wore were my riding gloves.
I have no idea how many different ones that are out there but these seem to work just fine.
This was in Moab Utah Thanksgiving weekend two years ago. It was 17º and we stayed plenty warm.
