Hand Warmers

I would like to purchase hand warmers for my 2001 Foreman 450 and my 09 Rincon. What have you guys found to be the easiest brand to attach to Honda's. Thanks in advance.

I've had these for a couple of years and been very happy with them.

What ever you get buy an extra relay to power up the grip power relay with the key on.

I'm not going to try and convince you that what I have is the best because I’ve never had anything to compare them too. Several of the folks we ride with have the same set and they too are happy with them.

One of the nice things is that the temperature control is a rheostat so you can set the temp that fits you rather than having only a high and low setting.

I’ve heard other people complain that their’s gets too hot and when they set them on the low setting they just don’t get warm enough.

I would also get some hand guards that will block the wind from your hands and possibly consider a thumb warmer for the throttle. My hand guards were very inexpensive and do a great job of blocking the wind from my hands. 17º and all I wore were my riding gloves.

I have no idea how many different ones that are out there but these seem to work just fine.

Just last winter I bought some hand warmers and so far I like them. Although I don't do alot of riding in the winter time. On high setting they get too hot. You will probably never have to use the high setting. What I use is called Symtec ATV Winter Pak. It also has a thumb warmer too which makes it extra nice. On the downside, it is kinda pricey. This is similar to what I bought:

The only thing I see different is mine came with actual heated grips instead of the large square pads.

106 or so around here also. I wonder if they make handlebar coolers...

Anyway, not much experience with heaters, but I second the handguard/cover suggestion. I put mayer plastic handguards on mine, and even those made a big difference. Just blocking the blast of cold wind really helps.

If I rode much under 20 degrees, then I'd do the heaters too.

Angler and Specta, how did each hook up? On my past quad I had one switch for the grips and thumb (I liked that). I got it from the AC dealer specific for AC. It hooked up quickly to wires that were already there for that purpose.

Will these types be similar to that?

On mine I just hooked up directly to the battery, I know I shouldn't have done that. I hate messing with electrical stuff.

Mine has two seperate controls for thumb and the hand grips.
