I have seen a 96 Foreman 400 (395cc) turn 27" Vampires through some ugly stuff.

Here is a 5 speed 420 with 28" Mudzillas
Nah, 26" tires shouldnt be an issue. I think the point was more that why bother making the Rancher into a mudding monster when its cheapr and easier just to get a big-bore ATV in the first place.

As I stated before. I DO NOT MUD BOGG AND I DO NOT PLAN ON DOING IT. I just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with my machine.

A 26" tire is not a huge tire. The 09 auto ranchers are geared lower than the man. shift ranchers. I have 26" zillas on 212 alum wheels and have no problems with them. A 24" tire is a smallish tire that comes on the rancher. BTW it dosent ruin the handleing of the rancher. It actually seems to turn better with the zillas over the stock and my
12" foreman wheels/tires

Default what???

All these people talkin about big bore this big bore that, and what did i hear about a sweet little rancher lol??? I have a rancher 420 on 27 inch silverbacks and can turn them in the thickest mud out there. I havent found one can-am, brute, or polaris haha that can stay with it yet. And a artic cat sure aint goin to follow me cause kitty cats dont like the water. And dude what are you talkin about you have to put all this money into the motor of a 420 to spin bigger tires when you coulda just bought a big bore for the same price? If you didnt know most ranchers run around 5,500, most brute forces run around 8,400, and a sportsman 850 runs right around 9,000. Did you know you can buy a package for 500 dollars that comes with a hmf optimizer, hmf exhaust, and k&n air filter that will make a 420 rancher out run a brute or polaris and have more take off power and torque. People really need to know what they are talking about before they get on here and run their head and talk down on the rancher.
