2007 honda 300ex electrical problem
so recently my girlfriends 07 300ex with maybe 15 hours on it is having a problem with the battery. it sits for about a week or two before it gets any use but lately its the same with all of our wheelers, and we go to start it and the battery is completely flat. the first time i thought i left the key on and thats why the battery is dead. so i recharged the battery and we ran it that night. nothing was left on and a week later the battery is flat again. today when i pop started it and took it down the road it acted like the rev limiter was kicking in at half throttle. i dont know if thats happeneing when the battery is charged or if its a safety thing. my assumption is that it has something to do with the CDI but i dont know why it would keep draining the battery. on the downside her warranty ran out two months ago. so any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
