P.S. I hated my twist throttle and have since reinstalled my oem thumb pusher! Much better!

Sorry for reviving this... I still haven't fixed the stupid thing...

I'm not THAT inexperienced. Me and my dad had to order a whole new cable, so I've tried unthreading the lock nut at the top of the carb.

Does anyone know if I should just buy the motionpro throttle cable for the 05 and up 400ex's that apparently have 2 more inches?

Thanks for ABSOLUTELY nothing. I bought the new throttle cable and it worked.
