Really? Why is the title of the post "03 honda 400ex help". In that case you many have to get the tool. Don't let that stop you. It really has to be done.

i went to the shop and they didnt have a tool ill find a way to get it out. i got a 150 155 and 160 im goina try the 160 1st and i also bought a boyesen quickshot 2 but idk if id need to change jets for that he said it just makes it more responsive and stuff so i was like what ever cuz ive been savin my cash for to long o yea and i bought a fule screw one of the ones that i dont need a screw driver. so will the quick shot do any thing cuz i ordered it and when the parts come in im goina be fittlin with it for a wile

I don't think you need to rejet for the quickshot but, I'm not 100% on that. If you really want to increase power take the lid off or get one of the lids with the outerwears built in or drill 1" holes in the lid. That will really open her up.

No problem at all. That's what the site is for. We were all beginners at some point. If you remove the lid or drill holes you will definantly be going with the 160 main. No doubt about it. After you get everything going if you notice any backfiring while riding the 160 isn't enough and prob need to jump it up some more but, we can deal with that then.

k i put the 160 jet in and the fule/air mixture screw in and 3 turns the quick shot didnt fit so im just returning it. it seems to be running good now but i wont know untill i go riding on it. when i hit the gass its better but it still bogs a little i still have the air filter cover on to would that be it?
